NSers at ANU

It's looking like I'm going to be heading to ANU next year to study. I've already accepted an accommodation offer and it looks like I will be getting an academic offer soon. So is anyone on NS at ANU, and where do you generally go skiing? (I'm assuming Thredbo or Perisher). If you have anything else to add, please do.

hey i dont go to ANU but i have heard that there is a bit of a ski community there, day trips to thredbo that are pretty cheap. if u ever head to the falls or hotham send me a msg. im always looking for people to ski with.

Will do. I'll probably find it hard not to return to hotham. It's the mountain I've always skied at.

I'm going to UNSW this year (anyone else?) but I live in Canberra. Perisher or Thredbo is where you want to be going, I haven't skied Thredbo much though so I can't offer much comparison. Apparently Selwyn (sp) has a good park, if you're looking to ski park for cheap but its a shit resort otherwise.

I might be going to anu as well in the next year or so, im a Canberra local and iv been sking perisher for ages now, its not too far as long as you go up with a few buddies too keep you entertains and chip in for fuel.
