Replying to Dying binding pieces

Not sure if this is totally ski gabber worthy but w/e move it if you want I have marker Griffin schizos unfortunately and they are all white and I'm thinking they need some color. They come off easy cause they.are schizo so I'm thinking I could just take the toe and heal pieces and dunk em in dye. Not sure if this is a good or bad idea for the functionality of the binding What dye or process to use? Suggestions and past experiences +k
