Where is the snow?

I know this is a repost, although I am still curious about this years lack of snow and it tempretures raising vastly compared to years in the past. Does anyone have a real answer to this misterious event happening to our beloved sport?

Minnesota has NO snow last year we had 2 feet beginning of November. The normal average temperature in MN in January is 8 degrees it has been 45 plus the last week!

but targhee is having a pretty average year, along with most of the interior BC areas.

Steamboat finally is starting to get some snow today. A solid 6 inches so far and still going hard. Of course my doctor just tells me I can't ski for three weeks though...
