I bet the fire chief guy went legal after they shot all the episodes, so he's all clear now and thats why he is te only one shown along with the dead old guy

Its all fake. They show the methods, they dont actually make alcohol on camera.

that's why they are able to film it because they are showing law enforcement enforcing the law.

its the same way with intervention and such.

hahaha I actually watched like an hour long documentary on an old moonshiner today. heres the first video in the series (its on youtube) this guys is a fucking boss. he looks like he came straight out of the gold rush ages.
