Help Mt.Hood summer trip planning

So I'm going to be graduating this year from high school and me and my buddies really want to go to Mt. Hood to shred for a few days but I need to get some questions cleared up. +k for answers

1. Camping Recommendations?
We plan on camping but is there any good [laces close to the mountain. Were ok with paying to camp but if there are any spots that are just off the road and free it'd be great to know where those are.

2. Mountain details?
How good is the summer public park is it worth driving all the way up there from Lake Tahoe area to shred for a few days? How expense are lift tickets? I know some resorts offer deals for like week long tickets do they have anything like this there in the summer?

Any answers and just details on the area are appreciated.

Camp on the airstrip at trillium lake its like a mile from the bottom of the access road to t line The public park is sick as fuck and u dont have all the windells kids in there. Look online for pass prices a week of skiing will be pretty spendy

Trillium lake or airstrip to camp at. Airstrip is free trillium is fairly cheap.

Public park is awesome. i would advise coming here mid june-late july. Thats when the park is at its prime here. Last year there was like a 10 jump line with tons of rails. Tickets were 54 bucks a day and they will probably be 56 next summer. Yes a huge rip off but where else are you going to ski in north america at that time of year? Dirty fuckers. Summer passes are around 900 bucks. There are no deals at timberline. As I said before they are dirty fuckers.

Have fun! Its worth it for sure the time spent will be great.

ok thanks for the help. Damn I was hoping for like 35 bucks a day so I guess well only be shredding for like 2-3 days
