Replying to Salomon Suspects As Rail Ski, Armada Alphas As Only Jump Skis? (Saving Valuable Alphas Edges)????? [CLICK]
fail title but couldnt make better =S
Ok so i bought suspects last year and never really enjoyed em that much... the edges are broken (surprise) theres no big jumps in our hills so rails are in big part. so i managed to cut a edge from my old
skis, and i attached the edge to my suspect and made new edge on it where it broke. then i used 9 poprivets to keep the edge on it. it works pretty well. but the edge is just super dull. cant keep anything on ice and our hill is always on ice. And i bought new alphas this year and i love them!! theyr super sick and fun, but then my dad just says that i should keep the suspects as rail ski and alphas as pipe/jump coz i havent dulled the edges much yet, and too save the alphas coz theyr so expensive and i have already broke so many skis.
so.. i haave had 2x armada codas (when i was young) and never broke em even though i did rails as much as now. so how good are armada's edges?
and i dont understand this when my dad says i should only use the suspects as rail ski..?? like 9/10 of my season is just rails rails rails. and i cant sharp the edges anymore and it is just 100% sliding everytime on snow. so i shoud use like 9/10 of the season the suspects and like 1/10 the alpahs since i only go to other resorts like max 5 times in season.
Ok.. so now the real question:
How good are armada skis, are they long lasting skis? (mostly from edges) and should i save em so much as my dad says? or could i just use the alpha as main ski. and then just sometimes when i rail in my backyard i could use my suspects. yet what i have heard froms uspects everybody brokes theyr edges at some point so was it just because theyr salomon and i dont have big problem with alphas?
WHAT DO YA THINK? :D
(this became an essay sorry)
