All-Mountain Ski Recommendations

So basically all I have right now are a pair of last year's Punx for riding the park. That's great for park and all, but I really think it's time for me to get a ski I can use for other purposes. I'm also going to Whistler for a week in March, so I figure I would want something that I could use there, too. I don't think we'll be doing anything crazy, but probably a bit of side-country pow, and stuff like that - I honestly don't know, as I've never been there before and don't know what to expect, as an East-coaster.

Spark notes: I want an all-mountain ski or something similar that I can use to rip down groomers, a bit of pow, and basically everything except park. I weight 130lbs, I'm 5'8, and I'm a pretty good skier, but maybe not a level 3... So I dunno, 2+? Thanks!

Hmm, thanks for the suggestion but Jeffreys seem to only come in a 186, which is probably too long for me... A 173 reaches about the top of my head.

If your willing to spend $700 or more dollars go with ON3P. I was in the same situation when I broke my park skiing. I would recomend line all mountain skis. I have the 2012 Line Chronic and it is super poppy and fun in powder, rips through, crud and is great on groomers. They are also not to wide and I am still able to throw flips and rodeos in park and shred rails.

181 J-mo's would fit you good, 96 underfoot and rockered tip and tail. They're $649...

They did offer it in a 176. Not sure if its still true.  I currently have the 186 Jeffrey and they are bomb.  I'm also on the east coast (NH) and they're perfect for my all-mountain ripper. 

If you can't find any jmos or jeffreys short enough for you, i'd say Line SFB or Armada TST

Bump, what do people think of Line Blends? 100mm sounds like a perfect balance between ripping groomers and shredding pow on occassion, and I will mostly be using these for groomers anyways, so I don't mind sacrificing a bit of powder performance. Also, what bindings would you guys recommend? I've got Marker Griffons on my Punx and they've been great, especially since I'm so light. Would they be fine for Blends too, or would you guys recommend something else?



Also keep in mind I am funding a trip to Whistler in March, so I'm trying my best not to spend too much money on a new setup.

armada el rey. pretty cheep super nice tho. depends where your skiing tho, 7/10 times i would say el rey other 3 /10 the TSTs or a ski with a wider waist.
