Yeah me too. But my puppy munched mine down a little so i went and bought a cheap pair of skull candys for like 18 dollars they're fine. I can shred and jam simultaneously. Its cool. I think it's stupid when people spend like 250+ on head phones. Unless they're a dj or something it's just like meh.
jvc makes a bitchin ear bud called the mallow or something like that, that has memory foam type ear buds so it fits perfect in your ear seals out all the noise and sounds great, best part is there 15 bucks at walmart
I've had skullcandy ink'd earbuds for like 8 months and they refuse to break. They got some pretty nice bass and sound quality for $20 earbuds. and they don't fall out of your ears like the apple ones
Also check out sony (or their subdivision Piiq) and other sennheisers if you're looking for solid construction and great sound...Skullcandies look cool and their warranties awesome but the sound quality is not so great. In my opinion you can never really go wrong with a pair of cheap buds because worst comes to worst you're out like 15 bucks.
yeah, skullcandy is only good for some big old earphones man, the buds suck. i would have to agree about the apple ones though, one pair lasted me like a year and a half
Klipsch Image S4 is the ultimate $85 earphone.
That said, JVC, Skullcandy, and Sony all make some decent cheaper earphones. You're not going to get anything very good for less than 50 though.
as much as I don't like skullcandy and how I have had a terrible history with their products, I got the 5050 ear buds because I wanted in ear earbuds that had the 3 button in-line control for cheap so i can change songs while i skate/do other stuff and I'm so happy I got them. they sound decent for the price and the controls are super convenient.
Got them on amazon for 25$ shipped
These are actually pretty legit. I know the kid that owns/runs the company and he does a pretty impressive job. You can fully customize the buds, even for the type of music you generally listen to.
