I would like to share one more thing I learned in my public speaking class today.
In times of stress your body sends excess blood to your brain to allow enough oxygen/nutrient flow for your brain to operate at an optimal level. There are two possible ways to cope with this.
The first most simple way is to influence your body to send the blood to other parts of your body. This can easily be done by doing a few jumping jacks, or other exercises to get the blood flowing.
The second method requires immense discipline. I am still learning about this process, but you can use this stress to your advantage once you master it. The feeling of adrenaline can result in increased awareness. Which can help immensely
