so i was checking out summer camps and i think i want to go to mhssc. bc its $1000 cheaper and from what ive heard its a more chill and a better place to go if u rlly want to learn stuff. is this true or wat r ur thoughts?+k for good answers
MHSSC is my favorite place on the earth. after having spending 3 summers in the program, twice as a camper and once as a staff, it is an amazing place filled with amazing people
it is definitly worth the price to go and if you want to learn, you will.
no there isn't but there is a fantastic trampoline, and if you really want it, the park crew can build a very safe backflip jump or somthing. the camp is small enought that they can do that
as much as i would say late in the summer, the coaches are extremely willing and excited to help you learn. i think the best moment in skiing for me ever was when i landed my first backie at camp and Malone(one of the coaches-he's a g) ran down the hill screaming and picked my fat ass up in a big bear hug.
#nostalgia
anyway, i think actually a session during the end of june/early july would be the best because then you have alot of kids who probably want to learn the same things you do, sessions with more people tend to get me stoaked
I'm thinking of signing up for either session 1 or for both 1 and 2 and stay for two weeks. You should go one of those weeks and I'll help you learn to flip, it's really easy
ive been going there past 2 summers spent 3 weeks out there this summer coolest ppl i know ive met there the coaches are sick help u with every trick from the park to the tramp deffinetly should go dude
I want to go here too. Just curious if anyone has any cool edits of MHSSC. For windells there's plenty but I'm having a hard time finding videos of MHSCC. Thanks!
i was talkin to you on the lift this past summer, i was a camper at windells and i asked you if that was the dripset. you have now all heard my cool story.
I'm sort of a beginner rider (I can do 3's, surface swaps, and right side 270 outs), I'm just wondering if this is the camp for me to start getting better with spins and maybe start working on flips. Any thoughts? Thanks guys
Sweet! How many kids usually go a session? Like whats the ratio of campers to a coach? Sorry so many questions, just really interested in this and want to make it happen.
Well you can go to MHSSC for two weeks for the same price as one at any other camp = double the skiing.
Only downside is that they do not have an airbag or access to wateramps so everything you are trying you are doing on snow for the first time (they do have a pretty banger tramp).
Think about how many kids this guy has influenced. How many kids this guy has taught to backflip or slide a rail... This guy has a legit legacy. This meme describes exactly how I feel describing Malone to people who don't know.
