Both look pretty fucking amazing. However tomorrowland is a little out of my budget, I'm definitely going to dayglow if they come to my city again this year.
day glow is gay. its for stupid teeny boppers. go to some festy instead. ultra, electric forest, bisco. more good artists less gay paint and 3 days not to mention u can hussle ur moneys worth back in the 1st day and then make enuff to buy drugs the rest of the tiime. or go to tomarrow land if ur living in europe
I gotta admit after reading all these threads about dance parties (raves?) I will say I had no idea they were that cool again. looks fun sometimes, especially with hot girls dancing around, but my inner agoraphobic doesn't like it.
this. Honestly drugs helped and the paint+confetti+more paint+whatever really adds to what dayglow is.
Personally i had a really fucking good time, i went for the ok music and the paint and got exactly that. In retrospect it wasn't amazing, but fuck i'd say it was worth the $50 i paid for the ticket and drugs. I'd say send it.
It was fun to go to once, but I wouldn't pay that much again. It's 18 and up, so that's a big downgrade. But it's still a fun party if you can get over the fact that the security there is ridiculous and active. I think it would be infinitely better if it was 21 and up and they weren't trying to hand out MIPs all night to high schoolers.
I live in Norway, so its only an awesome roadtrip away. I can see having to travel from over seas would be a bit expensive just to go to a festival. A really awesome festival.
saw some videos from edc on youtube, looks pretty sick! Wish we had that in Europe.
Sensation (white) is coming to Norway for the 2nd time in april, missed it last year but i´ll be there this year! Plus we have this thing called Extrema Outdoors which is kinda like Tomorrowland just down-scaled a bit. Went last year too.
And avicii is playing in my city in a couple of weeks, that should be pretty awesome too!
Eh, I went, was kinds lame. Ive been to many house, dub, electron kinda concerts and the paint waskinda cool but didn't make up for the crappy performance. I was dripping wet sweaty, pretty sure paint was in my pores, it stung like fucking fire. Not fun when you're tucked up.that being said I still had a good time and the bitches loved it, some funny memories too. Make sure you get close to the front fast, also stat hydrated, its fucking hot
why does every edm festival noob talk about tomorrow land like its the end all be all, you do realize it is in europe right? its not even that big, edc and ulta (both in the US) are far larger and had way better lineups last year.
dayglow looks fun, depending on what city you go to. there are rumors of a dayglow stage at edc this year, which would be fucking dope. im not sure how i would feel dancing covered in paint for a few hours though
if you are in europe, creamfields, defqon1/qlimax, sensation in amsterdam(not worth it for anywhere else), global gathering, and the entire summer season of ibiza would all be better
I just went to the one in rochester last week and was kind of disappointed. i had an awesome time, but it didn't seem to be really anything more spectacular then any other EDM show i have been to. I feel like all the hype surrounding Dayglow makes it seem like its way more ridiculous then it really is. however, i will say that alesso killed it, and the acrobats were pretty damn cool.
