I know I am thread and post whoring right now about guns and emergency medical services, but this struck a nerve. I have stood outside of the ER (that I work at) doors at night in the ghetto and heard gunshots. I have worked the medic before on NYE and had to park in a fire station garage because of falling bullets. Never, have I EVER seen anything like this before. Detroit seems like a straight up warzone.

its fucking new years eve. i would at least hope that its some sort of fireworks rather than "someone" firing 100 rounds of ammo at nothing.

ya no shit i got lost in detroit and drove off the highway around sunset and i was legit scared megas everywhere givin you dirty looks a kid no older than 12 pointed his fingers at me like a gun and made a shooting motion al the buildings are literally burned down boarded up and condemmed fuck detroit its like gotham city on crack

Those are definitely gun shots. I know someone who lives in Detroit and she said that if you call 911 to report shots fired they asked if you think there was return fire. If there wasn't any return fire, they don't even check it out.

The beginning of the third clip was one of the saddest things I've ever seen, seeing them come out of the house lifeless was terrible.

Holy shit. I mean you hear all the shit about Detroit, but hearing like 30 shots straight on and off like that is fucking scary as shit.

^The comment about Gotham city doesn't sound too far off based off of that video.

Detroit is so bad, and it's sad really a city that had so much going for it, literally crashing and burning.

and 100% agree with the above post, firemen and women are definitely heroes.
