I was just wondering if anyone has downloaded it and if so how long did it take and did it fix your comp

well obviously it will depend on ur connection speed, but if you use windows update it will just plain take forever. you can get the deployment/stand-alone install package here.

i put it on one of my boxes and photoshop and dreamweaver stopped working, mostly because theres all kinds of new security fixes like NX extensions and the like that may make some of ur apps to stop working unless u disable some stuff.

i don't recommend it unless ur on a network at a school, or you're downloading a bunch, looking at porn, testing trojans, etc. of course i don't recommend windows either...

I have Windows XP home edition will downloading the service pack 2 IT professional mess up all my files and everything and will I have to download everything like AOL, Adaware, etc

jesus i have dial up and that thing took me about two days to get. i think its 70mb in size. probably worth it though

will the package i linked to is about 270ish, but the windows update package is much smaller. you sound like you should probably just use auto-update to get it. just get it going when you leave for a few hours or whatever.

a couple weeks ago i dl i and ppl on here said it was messing up their computer, so i uninstalled it. r these problems fixed now so i can reinstall it?

well did you have problems when you had it or what? you should be fine installing it, because anything that might mess with other apps can be disabled i think.

well i only had it up on for a few hours since the ppl on here were coinsidentally talking about the same day i installed it saying it messed things up, so i didnt really have much time t osee if it did anything wrong or not

yeah i use auto update for sure, its the only way i could have gotten it. it did slow my internet down for a while though. oh well, 3 more days till cable!

it won't mesws anything up... you may have to apply a patch here or there, but there's no reason not to install it.

i got it. It makes internet explorer block popups but I hardly ever use that anymore. It added a security thing too that keeps saying my antivirus is out of date. It isnt.
