Nicest one ski quiver!

Hey whats up NS. First post whoooo! anyways my names Nick and I ski on the ice coast. (mostly in ontario and quebec) and probably some ski trips to the west coast in the near future. I am a type 3 skier and I ski about 30% park and 70% all mountain. I'm really looking for one pair of skis that I can just take anywhere and in any condition and just have them kick ass. Im 15, 5'10 and 175 pounds.Budget isn't really an issue (no my parents will not be paying for them) ill probably just work or figure something out. Also what are a good pair of bindings to go with these one ski quiver skis?

I have the ON3P jeffreys with FKS 140s and im in NH.  They are awesome.  narrow enough for ice and hard pack and waiting for some deep stuff to try them out....
They are a real playful, poppy ski.

Something smaller would be the ON3P jeronimos or armada arv.

@mountainviper i hear a lot of people kinda bashing on the line afterbangs but my question is will lines hold up i mean its not like I'm the most aggressive skier in the word but I like my stuff to hold up.

Ive seen a lot of people here rave about on3p like most people swear to them my question is are they really that out of this world?

also should I be looking for a bit of a fatter ski for when I do get to ski powder? (we got close to 40cm of fresh snow in ontario over the past 2 days)

this recent snow fall has actually inspired me to nag my rents to let me go on a trip to the west (I got addicted to powder not really real pow but as good as it gets in the east)

I am also from the O and i have the On3P Jeronimo. They honestly are out of this world. They are awesome in literally everything. Ice, crud, pow, groomers, park etc. For ontario, I would not ski anythin above 108mm underfoot. Just cause you dont need that much underfoot for the amount of snow we get.

AND, dont get afterbangs. They suck at everything except urban.

It's really important to understand that the afterbangs and even the step ups are price point skis. They are designed to get thrashed and tossed without hurting the wallet too much. Your normal park rat will go through at least one pair of skis per season. Better to pay less for a-bangers than an expensive ski right. Now lines upper tier of skis hold up very well. I have cryptos that are 3 yrs old that I've beaten bad and they're still in great condition. I currently have the bacons and the opus. I put them through hell this spring and hell through the current crap conditions and they've held up fantastic. Better than expected. As far as on3p goes, I cannot speak from personal experience as I have yet to ski on them, but from what I've heard they're top quality. Makes sense because they're made by peeps who are genuine and really care about the sport. In fact, if I had the same hook that I do with line I'd be all over on3p based on all the good things I hear.

Armada alphas/halos. I rode my alphas for the first time today and they were great. mounted them 1.5cm back and they were sick in the park and on groomers. They're 87mm underfoot and have rocker in the tip and tail so if we ever got dumped on (I wish) they would float, hypothetically.

I like my salomon 2012, very good in park and groomers, cant say much for powder, because i didnt try them in pow

I have these with some Griffons on them, and have had a couple of Pow days out west in BC with them and I love 'em. Stable, fun, ton of pop. Ideal. And since I broke the edge on my other skis, they are my one ski quiver atm.

Canadian shipping is about $50 USD, and there shouldn't be a duty fee on American made ski. We can ship directly from the factory if you place an order on our website. now I don't really want this to turn into the whole fks. vs. sth thread but for all mountain skiing which one is better?

and gotta say this is why I love NS not everyday that you get the manufacturer of the skis post in your thread.

I'd go with Obsetheds for a one ski quiver, but I like wide skis...

but as for your binding question, solly binders have shitty brakes, fks are kind of finicky if youre hiking rails, the sollys will be easier to clip in and out of but the fks should last longer.

look into the tyrolia/head/4frnt bindings. they're all the same, nothing breaks on them, and they're relatively cheap. very underrated.

I would say a driver toe sth over a px toe fks for all Mountian use

For park, only fks

I ski about 50% park, 30% groomers and 20% pow. If I could only have one pair of skis to do all of this, I think I would go with Line Blends or K2 Kung Fujases mounted with Look Pivot 14s. Moment PB&J seems like a good choice as well. but I haven't tried those.

Ill check out the pb&j's but right now I'm thinking its between the Bacons and the jeronimos.

anyone know if theres demo places for these skis in the east coast? either line or on3p?

Check out on3ps site. Pretty sure they're doin a demo tour but I'm not sure if they're hittin canada. PM ginko. Those guys are very chill and willing to help. As far as line demos, I doubt it would be too hard to find. Call the shops close to your local mountain that demo.

why the jeronimo?  The bacon is 108 underfoot and jmo is 96.  The jeffrey is 108 underfoot as well.  That compares the closest to the bacon.

Also, ON3P doesn't do a whole lot on the east coast as they are a north west company and i'm not too sure about line.

Almost anything that is around 100 under foot. Rockered with camber. Find some skis that are like that, then narrow it down to the one you want.

why the Jeronimo? Because Ive been told that it is a very good all mountain ski. the underfoot doesn't really matter for me right now. its more about the conditions it can handle.
