Banff conditions in April... POW?

Planning on a ski trip for April 1-7. Heard sunshine village is great that time of year. Is there a chance we'll have a Pow day that late in the season? My group wants to ski pow & off-piste, any suggestions? Does sunshine have any nice off-piste or cliff sections that I do not need an avalanche beacon for? Thanks in advance

You'll have more fun at Lake Louise on the backside. There is pow in April most years.

Yea don't waste your time at sunshine unless your skiing their for July, to flat a mountain and way to cold. Ski Lake Louise last year I was skiing almost a foot of powder may 10th on last day of the season way better terrain then sunshine for sure
