So I would like to make my first edit this year.
I'm facing some problems though. They're kind of the most important part of an edit though haha.
Well, I ski a lot. My mountains been open for a few weeks now and I try to go up everyday. The problem is, I go by myself. I don't really have any friends that ski. So I was thinking maybe I could make an edit of myself.
I do a lot of photography, but I've never done much with video before.
I have a Nikon D7000 that I use for photography, but I could possibly use it for a little video too. I also have an older handycam laying around and a flip video camera from god knows how long ago. I have a semi-decent tripod it's a Manfrotto 055XPR0B, which all of my shots would be tripoded or POV with my little flip. So equipment-wise I think I would be alright.
The way it would be shot would be kinda boring but I don't have another way to do it. I would probably set up the tripod at a feature or halfway down a trail and then hit it with the camera recording. It will probably be a lot of work but whatever. Maybe I can find someone to just move the camera around for me.
Any tips or advice? I have a perfect song for it already. It goes along with the by myself type of thing. If people want me to post it I will but I don't want to give it away!
Thanks guys.
