Just blew the transmission in my honda and have been deligated to a 199something dodge mini van and it is the best its like a condo on wheels. Prime ski season vehicle. i guess i noticed that although the east coast has only been alright thus far this season it has opened my eyes to the mobility and greatness of a van.i went far and wide in great comfort. i need a pair of skis, some homies, snacks, money for shit and a van please and im great
Go out and buy an Astro for Safari, and then take out the middle seat section. It gives you plenty of space for everything, plus they have AWD, and are like a tank.
I was going to mention that.... The engine blew on my family's Astro, and we have it in our yard. We were going to use it for parts in the Safari, but it isn't needed it seems
Personally, I prefer Puma or Nike. [IMG]http://business.transworld.net/files/2011/06/wdywt-vans-12.jpg/[IMG] oh wait this isn't what this thread is about?
Actually its about 22 mpg. Turbo Diesel Sprinter engine FTW! Better than Andy's Subaru sometimes! Always think about converting to grease if anyone knows a guy.
There's a guy outside of Mad River VT who does em. Converted my buddies for him. Full of hassle to maintain and messy if you are collecting your own, also not ideal in winter. From what I've seen with his, I personally wouldn't bother.
MOds for days i turned my back seat sidways (for conversational flow) and got a hood scoop for it. Im thinking a six inch lift and some mud throwing tires would accent the gold paint job nicely
I have a 98 safari and it RIPS through snow. I blow by trucks and huge suv's all the time during snow storms. It truly is a tank. Plus I have black wheels. Wicked chick magnet as well.
I learned to drive on a 2001 Dodge Minivan and loved it. It was a controlled partyshack on wheels. Then my parents made the decision to get rid of it for a grand 800 dollars (wtf? The only problem was a slow oil leak) and I bought a 2001 Mazda Protoge (cool, peppy little car) for the bargain of $1200 from a family friend. Now I can barely fit anything in my car, can only fit 1 person while snowboards are in the car and have had several problems and costed me about 600 dollars. I like my car and all, but I miss my minivan so much. Plus, what cop pulls over a complete grandma vehicle because they suspect drugs in the car.
some of my homies and i were homeless last night, i folded one seat over (it was like a little coffee table then flipped one middle seat around and the back seat sideways and god damn if i we wernt rolling in style, by the end of the night we had several more heads in there and we had a party on the move
my friend converted his delica to veggie oil and he loves it. a little bit of effort to collect oil but not so bad otherwise. veggie oil is fine through the winter, its biodiesel that doesn't work so well in the cold
