Whos going next year?!  possible roommate? i dont want to be stuck with some tool.

Also if you go there what are the fraternities like? would dorms be better or worse?

Transfer uses a meal but gets you one at the Crimson Corner or at the Union and I say it outweighs the value of Flex dollars by a lot. Being able to get different and slightly better food elsewhere on campus is really nice. Transfer meals have a lot of value you can use it for a variety of things. Eating exclusively at the Heritage Center gets old really fast and the Flex dollars will run out quickly buying food elsewhere.

i know that in my suit ( dont remember the number far north west corner faces inside the U shape) of the first floor has a dope shower head cause i left mine there haha

I think the standard 2 per room with a joining bathroom is the best option if you're gonna have a roommate. Sage point has a slightly different style but that bathroom layout sucks. You could get a suite style room where you get your own room and common area in Sage Point but I think living with someone else is better, you get to make closer connections. Gateway and Chapel Glen are the best by far. Sage Point is removed more and people don't really socialize with each other on the floor as much.

Well I didn't get the nonresident presidential scholarship, although I guess there's still a chance I might depending on if the people who did receive it decide to go to the U or not, but I did get the full tuition scholarship! Oh and I'm in the honors housing and have absolutely no idea who else is in the dorm with me.

i came from montana. yes, the first year is expensive but then if you get instate you spend at least half as much each year.

Just received a letter from the Scholarship office notifying me that I did not receive WUE. Looks like I'm going to Washington State next year! Utah has AIDS anyway.

U of U has wonderful technical schools - the finest medical teaching facility in America, and a CS/Math department with multiple professors who are awarded honors, and has the distinction of being a Slackware hub.

You can take or leave every other department outside of Science and Music (fantastic Jazz school), but def. come for the snow if you want it. It's very easy to tailor your schedule to allow skiing or whatever you want.

Houses are full by mid-March/late february. You -NEED- to get on that shit quicker. Housing waitlist spots will open up closer to late july/early august and even into September if not enough people drop out.

I'm a transfer, so I didn't hear back from them until about two weeks ago. They say that they prioritize out of state people needing housing, so I hope I'm able to get housing or else I'm really not sure what to do!

Don't worry! Transfer students are given short-list priority over in-state students, and below out of state students. You'll get yours, I'm sure. The majority of waitlist individuals are in-state.
