A very simple fast contour ROAM question

When shooting 1080p video does the lense angle decrease from 170 to 127 like the gopro hd hero? This is kinda a deal breaker between the two fo me.

P.S how good is the editing softwear that comes with the contour?

Yes, the angle is 127 degrees at 1080p. The editing software is simple, but very basic. All you do is select the sections of video you want, press the button and it exports only those sections. No colour correction or audio synching.

Whats the best softwear to use to edit either the contour roam or the gopro hd hero? Like something thats easy to use but can do a lot of stuff. And works on macs

Adobe Premier Pro is easy to learn the basics and then you can learn more advanced stuff later on.
