A quick word on blocking ads

Alright I did search bar this but it was getting hard to find somethings. I have a mac and a GoPro. Imovie sucks and its very limited. I want to slow some shots down but if I slow it down more than 75% the shots are not smooth. I am wondering if I can smooth them out through Imovie? Also, I am looking for a free editing software for mac that supports the 60fps on the GoPro. I have a feeling thats the issue being Imovie only exports in 30fps. Any help from you guys would be awesome/ suggestions.
