So, today i realized that our world runs on a magical green piece of paper called money. And i realized i don't have any of it! so i drove on down to the local ski shop to see if they were hiring. They weren't. And i need a job. Does anyone have any suggestions for me? No, i'm not interested in cheap prostitution or lawn mowing services. So if anyone has a job that they love tell me why you like it so i can get some ideas!
Go to Everest college and get a fun and exiting new career, all the people on the commercials look like they are doing really well, and they came from nothing!
sports store. wander around and talk to people, make commission, be guaranteed at least minimum and then on days where you have events like clearance sales happening you'll make a killing.
You want to work, but you dont want to put in time or effort and you don't want to start at the bottom rung of society. Kids these days...
Dude, I was cutting lawns for years when I was 15 to build a resume. I made enough to get into ecotourism where I got a level 1 ski instructor and a rock climbing guide certification.
From there, I went through college in a 3 year degree and now earning good money.
restaurants (ie mcdonalds, burger king, apple bees, buffalo wild wings, etc) gas stations, malls are a gold mine for high school jobs.
seriously dude who gives a shit where you work in high school any where is a good experience .... i delivered pizzas from sophomore in high school through when i was back on break in college.
So bro, you seem to be lacking in knowledge for jobs for high schoolers. Basically, if you clock in and clock out, it can be done by a highschooler (maybe not waiter, depends on your states liquor laws).
Find small restaurants or companies that might be willing to hire, and they will be the best place to work for.
When I was in high school I worked at target as a cashier/cart attendent. I wouldn't want the job now, but I actually enjoyed it a lot back then. Obviously it starts around minimum wage, but they treated me well and as a cart attendent you sort of take care of a lot of stuff on your own so you're not constantly getting bossed around. If you know how to work efficiently, you'll find the job pretty laid back. Just put on a smile, be friendly and dress decent for the interview and you're in..they hire pretty much anyone.
i work at bike shop, its sickk especially this time of year all we do is ride scooters around the shop and make stickers. But dont get me wrong it is hard work during the cycling season.
