Where to mount ON3P Jeronimos.

Just wondering what you guys with this year's Jmos have your skis mounted at, or where you think I should have mine mounted. I don't really ski as much park as I used to - still lap the park once in a while, but it's not what I primarily like to ski anymore. I like to ski all over the mountain, go fast, ski switch a lot, find random things on the hill to jib, and mess around in the trees every once in a while. I'm probably going to mount them at recommended unless someone can convince me otherwise, just looking for some opinions.

I have them mounted at the recommended mark on the sidewall and I like it mounted there. I don't really use them for park either

Hey man,

The recommended line is there as a starting point for an all mountain twin. If you're looking to spin or jib more, mounting them a little closer to center won't hurt the stability, but will make your Jeronimos feel a little more whippy and jibby. Maybe just a couple back from center could do the trick?

We've skied everything from park to powder on the Jeronimos, and if you decide to keep them at the suggested line rest assured they are still ready to lap the park now and then.

It's really a matter of personal preference in the end! Let us know how you like them.

If my memory serves me the recomended is at -3, I had mine mounted at -1.5 to make them a little more playfull, but I have put fifty days on them and they have yet to hit any rails. They ski so well that it doesn: t feel right to put such a fine ski through park torcher....maybe in another season or so, but for now I keep them tuned. So I guess in hindsight I would have them mounted at them at recomended for all mountain use. Nevertheless you can still carve agressive and hard at -1.5.

Quick bump. The skis showed up at my house this morning and I'm going to get them mounted in an hour or two. (They are SICK, by the way - can't wait to ski them). I think I decided I'm going to mount them at recommended. My AR6s are mounted -2.5 and I've never had any problems skiing switch or in the park, so I figure an extra half centimeter won't do me any harm.

Anyway, my real question is: what do you guys recommend as far as bindings go? The guy at my local shop recommended Jesters, but they sell primarily Marker, so I'm sure they are a bit biased. My AR6s have Jesters on them and I've never had any problems with them, but people seem to love the FKS binding, so is that something I should ask the guys at the shop about? Also, one more question (This is the last one, I swear). Do you think a 90mm brake will fit the Jmos, or should I get the 110? This is assuming I mount with Jesters, btw. My shop only has 90mm Jesters left and would have to order the 110 brakes from the warehouse.

mount them at the line. I did and no REGRETS at all, i skied a bit of park on them yesterday as well. As for bindings, I am a fan of the Pivot and the STH (salomon driver series.) Not sure if your shop carries salomon or not. I mounted griffons on mine, and they are holding up fine. The FKS are an awesome binding, pretty durable, no pre releasing or anything like that. BUT they really suck if you have to put your ski on in some unstable or deep snow. STH Driver series are really awesome as well. Pretty light, have metal in them, Parts are always readily available. The toepiece rocks on these things as well. You really can't go wrong with either the jester, STH 14 or 16 (driver toe) or the Look Pivot/ Rossi FKS.

And for your brake width question, i mounted mine with the 110mm brake, because thats what they had in stock. But im sure if you ask the shop to bend the 90mm brake out, they would.

What bindings did you go with? Skied them yet?

We use Marker demo bindings on our demo fleet - no complaints.
