Does anyone think we should have been in Vietnam? I'm pretty sure we concluded this subject when our soldiers came home after fighting, and were welcomed by people booing them and spitting on them. Not really a question.

you idiotic fucks have no idea of the real reason behind the war, jesus christ know the whole goddamn story before you say dumb shit like we had no reason being there, our reason was to show russia that we werent fucking around and if they advanced on east germany we would fight communism with our army, if we had not done this they would have percieved it as a weakness and moved in on east germany, which would have ended in nuclear holocaust and the end of the world, so please know that we didnt do it for the vietnamese, we did it for a greater reason
