I was thinking about getting a new laptop and the MacBook air looks Pretty cool. But not durable. Just wondering Who has them And how you think they are
I had one for a while, and the only thing it was good for was the wow factor. It had spotty durability, and the battery crapped out within the first 4 months of use.
If your dropping big bucks on a new computer, just go with a Macbook Pro. It is much more practical and seems to be more durable.
if you're looking to buy an apple computer, i'd go with macbook pro...macbook air is too expensive for the features it has
macbook air: doesn't have backlit keyboard (to my knowledge), only two USB ports. however it does have a solid state drive. you could put one of these in a MBP, though.
I'm on a Macbook Air now, it does have a backlit keyboard. It's really cool and all, but if you're going to spend that much money, go for the MBP. Upgrade to the solid state drive though
Seriously, i could make a mac if i wanted to... just take a huge fucking shit in my backyard and stick a couple wires and a battery on the piece of shit , and wala you have a mac.
...or you could be normal and buy a pc.. the choice is yours
intelligent people know not to overspend on things like consumer electronics :)
but this thread isn't about that, trollio
but yeah solid state drives are spendy for the amount of storage. but, they're super reliable, quiet, and quick. I have one in my work pc and it only took a week of using it to switch my home pc to one.
every computer I own from now on will have the OS installed on a ssd
