Alright so this is kind of a mis-match bunch of unthreadworthy questions that I had about my car, combined into one thread.

Well first off I got into a car accident the other day, just a kinda fender bender type of thing. I was driving straight through a green light. Some guy coming the opposite direction was turning left, but didn't yield to me and basically took a left turn into me. So I wasn't at fault in any way in the accident. I mean, it's kinda obvious considering he just turned into me.

The damage to my car ended up totaling my car. Trust me the damage doesn't look like it but I guess the suspension is all screwed up so it's actually way past totaled. It's a 1999 V6 Mustang (INB4 V6 Mustang jokes, I know it sucks, no need to tell me) so it's not worth much to begin with.

Well I had some skiing stickers on the car that I wouldn't really know where to get now, so if anyone has any that they would want to sell me that would be awesome. Or if someone from Stept has some extra die-cuts laying around that I could buy, that would be awesome too.

I mean, It's mostly just where can I get the newschoolers diecut and another stept diecut.

I'm probably going to be picking up an old Ford F150 to finish off this winter with, and to use in the summer to drag my dirtbike around with. But next summer I'd also like to purchase a new car for a daily driver. My budget would be probably 5,000-8,500 (not much I know, just wondering if anyone has any ideas) There's some guy near me whose selling an Audi B5 S4 for 7,500 with 117,000 miles. That would be sick. So something along those lines so I have a goal to look forward too.

Also if anyone's been in any accidents, post some pictures up in this thread. This can now be the NSer's wrecked car thread (I searchbarred and didn't see anything so feel free to call me out if it's a repost).

I know it doesn't look like it would cost that much to repair but really for the value of the car, it also doesn't even seem worth it.

Haha thanks. Honestly over the summer I just needed new tires and saw these really cheap on Craigslist, with tires so I just picked them up.

They actually didn't look as bad on the car as I was expecting. I really expected them to make the car look like something straight out of a hip hop music video. Before the car was wrecked though they actually looked nice and filled the wheel well up, well. They actually grew on me the longer I had them too.

I'm sorry I didn't really explain myself well, don't worry about it. I would just like to get a few Newschoolers and Stept stickers so I can put them on my next car, and I didn't have a clue where I could find any.

The Audi does seem like a nasty car too, I'd love to get one. Also, a muscle car V8 would be awesome too. Thanks for the ideas, because I just love cars so anything, whether it's an Audi or muscle car would be awesome. I just wondered your guyses opinions.

i got the same stept die cut with this years movie and you just buy a small sticker pack from level 1, youll get a white and a black diecut that size and some others. stept might have a pack too. theyll be about $5 shipped each or you can try the sticker cult, wtb, or sell and trade forum.

as for a car, no idea. audi and bmw for that amount of money will cost you to work on as well.

specially comin out of a v6 stang i think you want a big v8, even if you dont know it yet.

falcons and first gen novas are the best kept secret in old american cars, small and light, throw in a big block and go. prolly my next project is one of these after i finish up the 72 chevy truck.

and of course the standard camaros and stuff are always good, amc cars can be had for a decent price and are still badass.

and built right you can get decent mpg out of a v8, fuel injection electronic dizzy and a light foot go a long ways

I'm definitely gonna be keeping an eye out for some older Muscle cars too.

In the summer though if I see an S4 or something for a reasonable price though, I'll definitely jump on it.

got in one today. nothing major, just a minor fender bender. either way, not pimp at all. was approaching an intersection travelling at a normal rate of speed, hit ice, started sliding and slammed into the rear of an suv. little/no damage to the other guys car. broken headlight and bent hood for me. shit kinda sucks. first and last time, i hope. wish i had better winter tires and used better judgement. now im gonna some paranoid lil driver. fuck

I hydroplaned across 2 lanes of trafic and a center divider garden then annother lane of opposing trafic yesterday in the rain. Didnt hit anyone and didnt crash into anything, so I just drove away like nothing ever happened

You know, the first time I saw it with those very... "ethnic" looking rims on it, I literally thought it was the ugliest car I had ever seen.
Then over time it really grew on me though, weirdly enough. Honestly it never turned... not ugly, but it was a type of ugly that made it mine. No one else liked it, but I guess that's exactly why I liked it.

As I re-read that, it doesn't make sense at all. Basically it was the type of ugly that "only a mother could love" as the saying goes.

Static: Haha well the damage doesn't look like it would "total" the car, because it looks like it could possibly just need a new door and quarter-panel but I guess the body pillar was all screwed up, and also the rear suspension was damaged too. So all of it just added up to total the car. Plus, it's a 1999 V6 mustang, it's not worth anything to begin with.

Here's it before the wreck. I know it's ugly blah blah.

Check Craigslist daily for deals on Audis I know that you can probably get a lot more out of your money if you buy an A4 (unless you really want a V6 twin turbo).

I definitely understand what you're saying. There was no way in hell I personally could've avoided the accident I was in though. I was just driving the speed limit, straight through an intersection and I had a green light green light. Some guy coming the opposite direction (straight at me), just took a left turn straight into my car. What am I going to do to avoid that? He possibly had a red light, or a yield to oncoming traffic, either way, I didn't even have time to think to even possibly avoid it. I don't know if anyone could've.

I wish I took pictures of the accident I was in. My car was fine but the other person got fucked.

She pulled out of a side street making a left turn while I was just driving straight home from work, I T boned her, she panicked and hit the accelerator and ran straight into a pole. We were both fine but her car was completely destroyed.

In my area, a drunk driver used the police turn lane to cause a car to swerve into oncoming traffic. The locally known fire fighter died and his 2 kids who were in the car with him are in critical condition. The firemen was doing nothing wrong. Sometimes they're just unavoidable.
