so the middle buck of my full tilts fell off i guess in some pow today and I'm on a trip to revelstoke and there is no shops that have any buckles can i still ski for a few days on them still or is it going to be a problem?
That sucks. Thats like the one buckle you really dont want to loose. You will get some bad shin bang but if youre going on a trip you might as well ski. You could probably wrap some tape really tight in that spot. I just would try not to think aboutt it wile skiing
a friend of mine snapped his buckle in saas fee last year, it happened on day 1 of a full week skiing so we ghettorigged it with a tie-down, he said it worked quite well !
A tiedown would be a good idea for sure as you will now have more pressure per buckle now that your down one, which could increase the chance of you blowing another one.
basically. except depending on your boot you might not be able to do this. just ride without. it will be loose as fuck but will keep you on your toes until you get it fixed.
