Hey folks, heres the law out. I live in the midwest and ski very small hills. there are no realy steep hills out here. I usually lap the park all day and when im not in the park i am finding natural jibs and things to play around with on the mountain. I want a fun, light, poppy ski that i can do all that with and more. I'm 5'10" but like small skis so i would be getting the 166cm version. Any ideas? any ski that would be best? thanks +k

not hating, but why in the fuck would you like small skis? Have you ever tried bigger skis? I mean I have 171 t-hall's and i'm only around 5'6 to 5'7. I would go with the t-hall's because they are dope as fuck. but any whoo, don't get afterbangs! you'll regret it once you get slushy snow, because they get water logged, which makes a heavy sky heavier. Oh might i add 171 would be small for you, i highly recommend a bigger ski, try the 176!

l'm the same height as you and l just bought atomic punx in a 182. The length under the 182 is the 173, which l found a little short for such a light and soft ski. Although l didn't go with the shorter skis, you should take a look at them.

I'd avoid afterbangs unless you only want about 1 season on these skis. Afterbangs and for sure poppy and a fun ski. But give it one season and they have multiple edge cracks on all edges. My brother is still using his hes had them for under 2 full season and the tip and delamed, missing edge underfoot and on the tip... Just tons of damage. So essentially if your gonna buy new skis next year go for it, otherwise no.

I skied Abangs last year, they are way to fucking heavy and suck.
One of the worst skis imo on the market...
This year I bought the Thalls, never had a better ski. They are so light, poppy and pretty soft.
Great for rails and all kind of jumps, except for like 100 footers...

171 T-halls for sure! i am 5'10 and i like you like riding slightly smaller skis but these are the perfect size for sure. Super playful really nice to butter with and general a great ski. also good rail ski. Low swing weight so shuffeling round spins and all that is realy smooth. Great ski youll be happy with it.
