So I searchbarred and there hasn't been a thread about this in years. What is your opinion of shaving your legs from like the knee down during the winter? Is there a noticeable improvement while skiing? I have pretty long leg hairs and at the end of the day my lower legs start getting extremely uncomfortable from leg hairs getting caught in the liner and it ends up shortening many of my ski days. I'm aware of how ridiculous it would look but unless i'm going running I pretty much always have long pants on in the winter so it wouldn't be too noticeable. Opinions?
Ive thought about it. my leg hair gets pulled real hard sometimes but if i wear socks my feet and legs sweat and itch like crazy. Not shaving my legs though.
i completely understand that annoying feeling. i dont even have much leg hair but if ive got my socks on for 12+ hours, i can feel each individual hair in its hair socket and it kills
I'm amazed at how ignorant people are on this. Buzz your hair down with regular hair cutting clippers. Won't itch and your hairs won't poke through anymore which is what makes it hurt, especially when skiing pow.
It's not weird, I know a bunch of people do it and I do myself. Once a season is all it takes. Also glen plake approves of this practice
