Health insurance through your college?

Has anyone acquired a health insurance plan through college? I was getting a massage and my masseuse told me about it. Being the holidays I can't get anymore details from the school so here I am asking my knowledgeable ski community for info. Basically what does it cost and what does it cover.

It's pretty overpriced if you can stay on your parents plan, if that's a viable alternative.

I stay on my parents plan because I'd have to pay $2000 to be on my school's plan.
