Bindings ejecting on butters?

Hey guys, so I have a little problem with my bindings. I have AR7's with Rossi Axial 2 bindings I believe. The problem is, every time I try to butter, I eject from my bindings. The DIN's go up to 10 and I have them at 8, and it's still happening. I'm 5'7 and 120 lbs. It seems like right when I get my tips and and start to like push with my feet the pop out. I have no idea what the problem is, unless they are just shitty bindings. I was thinking they might be set too far apart for my boots and I would need to tighten them a bit. Should I take them to my shop and see whats up? Thanks.

Check your forward pressure. With your boot in the binding, there's a screw at the back that should be flush with its housing. It takes a few goes to get it perfect so pop your boot in, adjust, out, in, adjust, out, in, adjust etc.

with rossi bindings the forward pressure is determined by where the little black line falls on the window on the heelpiece.

op, look at the heelpiece of the binding from the side with the boot clipped it. you should see a neon green area and possibly a black line. use the tab on the bottom of the back of the heelpiece to move it forward on the track, then clip the boot in again, keep doing this until the black line on the neon green in the window thing is near the middle of the window opening.

This. Those bindings are good and you definitely shouldn't be popping out. If you struggle to get the forward pressure right (what this guy said is spot on) then take them to the shop, they'll know what to do.

I'd say forward pressure as well. I'm 6'1" 160lbs and can butter without ejecting at 10, so 8 shouldn't be giving you issues.

I had problems with this for a while when I tried them in pow. I tried turning up the din and it helped but still every so often they pop right off!

well first off you shouldn't be on 10 din bindings, those are meant for kids, a 12 din would be a far better choice

That's what the shop gave me. I'm not very big though, and I guess I still am a kid, I'm 14.

You shouldnt ride 10 din bindings at 8.

Go ask your shop. Your a small kid 8 is alot for you. And get the forward pressure checked.

yeah i'd have them do this dude. i have the same bindings from like 2 years ago. and if you don't need more than a binding that goes to 10, who really cares what your binding goes up to, unless the 12 din version is better quality (and usually is). i'm 5'9" 135 pounds or so in a 28.5 boot and my din is set at 5. and i can butter.
