Pinched Nerve in my Neck - Help?!

Hi,

Anyone ever pinched a nerve in their neck before?

I could use some serious help and any worthwhile recommendation on how to ease the pain.

I pinched a nerve in my first spinal vertebrae at the base of my neck three years ago and it still bothers me every day. good luck.

Ahhh that's the worst. I had it and I eventually went away over about a week but I was curiouser if you could just like turn your head fast an it would make a popping noise and it would feel better

Yeah sorry I should have provided more details.

Worked out hard yesterday and then was stepping out of the shower this morning and felt it....been hard to turn my head in any direction since.

I've had a pinched nerve in my neck for the last 2 years. I've seen about 6 different doctors, with the same results... "Here are some pain killers, it will work itself out".
When mine gets real bad, I stay away from the computer, tv, etc. That helps me. I cant tell you if the pain killers work, because I cant take them.

did that during football this year had no feeling in my right hand and every time i hit someone wrong i would be done for the day i was in so much pain i went to the ciropractor for it

Go to a chiropractor, I went for help in my lower back with a pinched nerve and he cracked it out, never felt better. Getting my neck cracked was weird though, he just grabbed my head counted to three and tweaked it. It felt good though.

Easier I suppose.. I say "Thanks but i'll pass, they dont work/or make me ill" and they'll say "well lets try this, or this, or this.."

So, instead of being a test subject I never fill the script.

our local doctor is also a chiropractor and he loves that shit. hes the father of a good friend of mine and its pretty casual when i am there.

last time i had a little bit of a stiff neck left and he just came into the room, asked "whats up?" and i said that i have a stiff neck. without further ado he told me to put my hands on my head like a hostage. then he reached through them and lifted me up. major crack #1. then he sat behind me sideways and told me to lean back so my shoulders rested on his thigh. he then took my head and just pushed it sideways. major crack #2. the same stuff on the other side. major crack #3.

felt good man.
