Help with gloves

so im heading out to banff in canada for the season and i know it gets pretty cold out there. -25 some days. ive never been in that sort of cold and ive been given some mitts that are so thick i cant get a proper feel on my poles. will they be necessary? +k for good answers

the Hestra Heli Mitt/Glove is really warm and durable.  I would recommend the Heli 3-Finger, you get dexterity and warmth.  Have fun up there!
