Broken bindings?

So I was doing a butter and i leaned to far forward and and pulled the brake pad out. So am i gonna need to get new bindings or can a shop do something about it?

I had the same thing happen to me. My dad wrapped some of this green wire around the brakes and the thing that holds the pad in. Let me go take a picture to show you what he did.

This is why I won't ever buy bindings from anyone but Backcountry.  Snapped my bindings a few weeks ago and the returned them no problem.  I know this doesn't help your problem, but good luck with the break and binding.

So it turns out the shop didnt mount the bindings correctly and just didnt screw in the 5th screw for them.

Sorry for the delay, here are the pictures:

As you hopefully can see I wrapped green garden wire around the brakes and the piece of metal that normally attaches to the brake pad

^but your still missing the brake pad you stand on, so your boot will be lower in the binding then normal, so the heel piece will not work correctly.

he might need to adjust his forward pressure, but as long as the heel isn't lifting up when the boot is in the binding it should be fine

take that with a grain of salt though, ive never skied fks with that problem so I am basing what i said off simple logic

Adjusting the foward pressure may help but thats more pushing the boot foward. What he has is more like losing some of the DIN pad on the heel of the boot. Its a bit like a well worn out boot, you could set the foward pressure but there would still be alot of play.
