QUIT SMOKING DRO!!!!

But honestly, I just decided to quit smoking, and not bagging on those who still do, but I have never felt so clear headed in my life, Im doing more instead of just chillen and doing nothing. Plus I have gotten clean cut and feel like Im getting more girls. Weed=fun, while sober= more accomplishments!

what do you guys think? One love!

i haven't smoked in about a year. when i did smoke it was at least every day. and that went on for about 4 months.

i don't feel as stupid and i have way more spending money.

I only smoke once or twice a week and I seem to be pretty clear headed. I hate smoking when I ski unless I plan on just cruising.

Everything in moderation.

Why not just take a break. I used to take a month or 2 off every year almost.


At one point I went like 4-6 months and just tripped instead of smoking. Was a nice change. Def cool to get completely cleared out. And then if you want to smoke again you start off with a clean slate. I think taking a month break every year or two at least is really worthwhile.

I have smoked lest than a g in the last 2 + years though. Haven't done coke since july 4th 2009, mdma= march 26th 2009, lsd/psilocybin = july 4th 2010.

And since august 16th? I've had about 10 beers.

Haha same here man,went through a bit of an ecstasy/weed binge first semester.. Couldn't think, didn't do anything it was brutal. Luckily I passed all my classes, but just and I'm typically an high 70/low 80's student.. Needless to say I kinda realized I also need to clean up my act. Feel much better every day!

Headie blunt + 2 pac/wutang/ tribe/ anything in my ears = win. I had the mini subs on my ears cranked. It could be the iciest day of the year and I was sitting on my board tucking into jumps. Deciding 5 feet before a rail to try a trick I'd never done before.


Weed makes you indestructible in the park. Do you not rock music when you ride? I just don't see how smoking weed takes away from confidence in the park

Naw man, when I smoke I get like a bob marley love everyone kinda feeling, where I could be bumping some mad rap and still feel like just cruising. Weed honestly made me a loving teddy bear who wanted nothing else but to make love with any solid 7.

double post. but i don't think you can make the assumption that weed inhibits you from learning new tricks. It doesn't effect me in that way atleast.. but I know that weed has a different effect on everyone. congrats on learning the new tricks man

if not, then progression is not really that important. for me its about having the most fun. of i enjoy progression, but i think weed is too fun to pass up on on the mountain.

Balance and reflex issues? Mind you, I don't smoke often.

I've skied drunk before and it was fun but I was only able to pull twisters and spread eagles off jumps, coordination was off by a mile, and considering my reaction times while being high, I doubt it would help (me).

I have slowed down my drinking by a ton this semester and it's been amazing. Not that it affected my productivity, but i got tired of drinking myself into a retarded stupor.


However, I do enjoy tripping semi-regularly as a way to kind of reset and get my head centered again. And rolling regularly has taken my appreciation of music (and many other things) to a whole new level, even when sober.


I definitely go through phases with weed. I smoke daily almost no matter what, but sometimes I'll feel like it's really affecting my energy levels and so I'll cut down to just smoking before bed, but then if I have a ton of work in school for a few weeks and get through it all, i'll start smoking throughout the day. just depends on how i'm feeling that week. but i've never really felt like it has affected my productivity either. i find it very easy to control myself and know when to smoke and when not to.

Not to sound like a dick, but do you think it's okay to say stuff about smoking when you're "an industry figure". I just think it's a bit weird.

Not everyone cares about it, most certainly many don't, but some really do. I just don't think it's wise to sprout thoughts as willingly as before after you represent some instances.

Surprisingly since I started college I've been smoking a lot less... (I don't have much money, not a ton of people at my school smoke and if they do it's usually not regularly, and I wanted to really focus). I kind of like it this way... it's a nice treat once in a while. I could always handle myself well, and as far as skiing it affected me differently... mostly in positive ways, but sometimes I did feel a bit slow and clumsy (depends on if it's sativa or indica and the type, of course). The way I think of it now is something nice to come home to and relax as well as a nice treat once in a while on the way to the mountain or on the chairlift.
