I live and ski in the pacific northwest (I go to Summit Central for park), I'm an alright skier, can hit most of the rails in the park and I could slap down 5's over the jumps which are only about 15-20 ft, but whatever hah. And I have a very inconvenient body type. I'm 5' 11", and 135 lbs. My current skis are Line Afterbangs, the 177's, I think they're 2010's. They're good ski's, but the problem is I'm really light so I can't really flex them out at all. This makes these skis really unforgiving on sketchy landings (and I'm always trying new stuff so sketchy landings are inevitable), and butters are impossible. I literally have to lean over, grab my tips, and pull to flex them. Also, they feel a little long, and that can get annoying on rails. I ski like 80% rails, and 20% jumps, but it's ok to have a jib ski in the park I'm always at because the biggest jumps they ever have there are like 40-50 feet and they hardly ever set those up.
LONG STORY SHORT, 5' 11", 135lbs, want a really flexy ski that I can butter easily with, and will be a little more flexy and forgiving on off balance landings. Also a little shorter than 177 would be nice. I also don't have much of a budget, like in the $300 range would be max. Don't mind getting used skis. Any suggestions?
