So I figured there was a fair amount of nsers from the area who will be traveling up to hv/kb. If you are just post up in this thread for the winter. Maybe majority of us can get together and ski.
I know there are a few other threads about hv or kb but just let them die and if you're going post in here!

So is there even WNY park guys left? Everyone always talks about the good ol days way back when but like is there anyone left? I skied a few days at KB last season and I felt like the only one there. Didn’t make it to HV though

We still exist. I ski at Peek'n Peak with a few skiers on weekends and usually see a bunch of other skiers that didn't come with me. Not sure what HV/KB scene is like these days, don't go to those resorts much.

Apparently Holimonts got a new park manager. Some chap name Chris Perkins? They’re promising big improvements, like a “fresh vibe” and “progressive layouts”. I’m a member there so if it really is that good I’d be happy to get anyone tickets.

It’s a pretty straightforward mountain. The park has never been exceptional but they’re sending emails promising big things.

But anytime you want just hmu and let me know how many tickets you want and I’ll put the reservation in so all you need to do is show up and grab em. They’re open to the public too during the week if you don’t want to come on a weekend.

That’s so relieving. I mean we got the infrastructure for a nice ass park, we’ve just had the laziest crew the last couple years. They didn’t even ski or ride.

Can anyone give me the low down on HV Parks this season? Holimonts got a HUGE setup opening hopefully this weekend right off the main lift but I want to get over to the valley and check out their setup. Can anyone speak for it?

I've been watching the IG story of @mradamx on a regular basis and there appears to be some nice rails setup on fiddlers. Can't remember if I saw any jumps.

EVL scene is alive and well. PKnPK seems like its still poppin off. I have no idea what goes on at KB these days..

I had the grey one in mind, never realized its from EA... that's right in my neck of the woods haha. I've never seen the black one I don't think, but it is cool to know there's at least 2 r32s kicking around WNY!

I think it’s pretty crazy how busy holiday valley and KB both have been. Even with limited capacity lines are still pretty long. Also no Canadians can get over the border and they make up a pretty substantial chuck of HV skiers. Super crazy. I thought this would be the year KB went under but if they’re selling out like they have been, maybe not

This is pretty universal I think. I ski at perfect north this winter and today the parking lot was full today and there was an entire mile of cars trying to get in. Ski areas are the only places open right now, so people want to do something with their life for once.

Agreed hv has been nuts swamped with people but more money means more snowmaking, expansions, new lifts, new features and more money hopefully a sliver of that cash goes into hv parks. They finally listened to me after spamming there ig until I got restricted. They setup some features I drew in fids and they also moved the jumps to moonshadow like I had been asking. Park crew says we’re getting a 3rd jump on moonshadow and there’s a metric shit ton of snow so hopefully it’s a biggy
