Broke a ski.... Need advice and ideas for what to buy next

So.. 4th run the other day and I broke a tail off on my 2009 line elizabeth's.

I am looking for another wide ski, and I do spend a large amount of time in the park (my favorite is powder/BC but don't get enough opportunity to hit it, yet still need to be able to when there is some).

I found that the elizabeth's were very soft, maybe too soft, I found myself needing a little more stability on landings. Besides that I love how they play and can't find any other problems with them.

Do I buy another pair of them, or try and find a similar ski that's a little bit longer (I'm 5' 11") and stiffer. I really want to buy skis soon, because it is about to be prime skiing conditions, and I'm ski-less!

Check out the new Bacon, the Moment PB&J, the Moment Tahoe, the Line Blend, the Nordica Patron's The Line Influence and possibly a pair of lib Tech NAS skis. All of these are mid fat skis that are similar to the Lizzie's (Some are as soft, some are stiffer) Start here and narrow it down from there.

Thanks for the advice, I've been looking at the PB and J's, I really like those. Also if I could convince on3p to make the jeffrey in a 176... The only issue is money, buying an older model year would be awesome.

I have the 186 Jeffrey's and they are awesome. Have yet to ski on the though...

The flex is good. I wouldn't say soft, I would say poppy. It has a good, strong flex due to the bamboo core. Quality, well-made ski. You won't be disappointed.

I have the Elizabeths too and tried to find something similar. I have bad news for you: I haven't found anything that skis like the Lizzies.

Although if you just want a wider park ski, I think the Blends are good. They don't have the super fun flex or the tight radius of the Lizzies though.

blends man, rocker in the tips for powder and still hold up on jumps and rails.

Your request is noted, and we will for sure have a 176cm next year.

Honestly, at 5'11, you should be fine on the 186cm though. This ski has done very well this year, we're completely sold out, but I think evo.com has the last pairs on sale anywhere right now.

Since I live about 5 minutes from your factory you should just make a 176 and let me test it out for you, for a couple of years..? hahah

But I will keep the 186 in mind if I can find them, I should probably demo first because I'm a pretty small 5' 11", but I think i could probably handle them.

If you live 5 minutes from our factory, bring your boots and grab a pair to demo out of the factory, we have everything here and you can take em up for a day or two.

Rossignol S3's are sick. Pretty wide, ride well in the park, and a bit of rocker for when the snow comes <3 Love mine.
