freakin' dangerous. Okay on something flat but if you're on steep stuff then you can't stop, you can't really control it and then if you roll over you hit the ground and then your body twists and you get a kayak rolling over you. So yeah, it is pretty stupid. Kayaking rivers is way better.

vallhalla is this sickest movie i've ever seen...it's so much crazier than any ski movie will ever be...i totally reccommend anyone to see that movie...if you wanna see a sport that's progressing insanely fast...kayaking's where it's at....they do this seal-launch down a 35 degree 200 foot long shale slope...and one of the guys beats in half way down and starts rolling...and they got in trouble from the mounties for doing it!!! what a great movie

i've been stuck under a kayak for like 30 seconds once...and i couldnt roll up because the rapids kept pulling my paddle the wrong way....scared the crap out of me, and there was this really big wave just down from where i flipped that i almost went over upside down...damn it kayaking rules...i cant wait till next week!!!
