I have been out once with my new skis and im practically sticking and losing all my speed on the rails due to the sharp edges. Is filing them worth it? And what should i use to dull them up a bit?
If you're going to be hitting rails, I would definitely file down your edges a little bit. It'll reduce friction and generally increase longevity due to the reduced material and friction.
Use a hand file and just go at it underfoot. Keep in mind shit like boxes, so usually I would dull my edges several inches fore and aft of the bindings. Just don't get any metal filings in your fingers.
