Toronto to Whistler

Hello. a few questions for whoever wants to answer-

What are your thoughts on how to drive from Toronto to Whistler?


Should I do the drive which includes the US or not?
What is cheaper (gas wise)?
Also, where can i get instructions on how to make this drive if I include boarder crossing?

both gas and cigs are much cheaper in the us.

Do the route through the US. i know a few people who drive ontario to BC pretty often and they all agree that going through the US is a far better drive.

it's faster through the states, but I enjoy the drive through Canada... Ontario just takes forever to drive though.

I'd say it depends on where in Ontario you're starting. If you're starting in Eastern Ontario, the Canada route might make more sense than driving all the way down to Windsor.

and what instructions are you looking for exactly as far as border crossings go? bring your passport, don't bring any drugs and be honest.
