ok so since there are lots of guys on here, tell me what you think of this relationship and what I should do.
I've been best friends with this girl for 4 years. She gets a boyfriend and I kind of get put on back burner, that was ok for a while, got old quick. This guy is a complete asshole, he treated me like shit. And he bought EVERYTHING for her. she didn't pay for one single thing. is that weird? But the funny part is that he doesn't have testicles. no joke. And everyone has told her she could do better. Well he tells her I'm not a good friend to her so she decides not to be my friend anymore. She hasn't talked to me in over 2 months. This was my best friend, she doesn't want to be my friend anymore too. I've been trying to talk to her but she won't even talk to me online. She doesn't talk to her 2 best friends from high school. Is something wrong here? How long do you give a relationship like this? What do you guys suggest I do? And along with the other thread, is it weird that he pays for every single thing for her voluntarily? They can't even have sex because I guess stuff doesn't work down there for him. yeah wtf? so what should I do about this? plus, she is going to switch colleges to be with him!!! oh yeah, they've only been together for maybe 6 months

personally, i think that the fact that he has no balls and they dont have sex is respectable in itself. it sounded to me like youre saying hes a loser and she doesnt deserve him cause hes testicleless. which is fucked up. but its also fucked up that he said not to be friends with you anymore. but do you know why? because if he has a legit reason, then maybe you should just be happy for her. but if theres was no justification, then id say, fuck this push over friend. write her an email or something explaining how you feel and your situation, because she wont talk to you anyother way. dont start in on him though, cause then that will give her more reason not to be friends with you. just tell her how much you care about her and how you valued your friendship and i think shell get the idea.

ok wtf? he really doesn't have balls. And it's funny. it was funny before they were together and it still is. I was the best friend a person could ask for. even my other friends told me that. They were like 'I wish i had that friendship with my best friend' and all this stuff. I think he was jealous that we spent so much time together and wanted me out of the picture. She listened to him. As sad as it is, she did. And you know what, I am going to make fun of him, because as of now I hate his guts for splitting her apart with all her friends. She doesn't talk to any of us anymore. I'm sorry if you disagree, but that is wrong to split a girl away from all her friends just to so he can have her all to himself. There was no legit reason for it. I guess we were just best friends and he didn't like that but whatever.

I've already come to that conclusion, but if she ever does want to talk to me again, like when they break up, I'll be here for her, but I'm going to stop trying to contact her. I still don't get why someone would drop me like that, but, I guess that's what happens. It has been baffling me for the past 2 1/2 months!!

Personally, I dont see how there could be a reason for someone to drop her best friends over a guy she just met. I'd say, as hard as it is, just try not to let it get to you and concentrate on spending time and being happy with your other friends while she's being like this. If you're really worried that her relationship could turn abusive, then you could make sure that she knows youre there for her to talk to if she needs to, but I wouldn't go out of your way to talk to her right now. And whoever said girls can't be good friends is wrong. My best friend and I have been freinds for 5 years, we see eachother every day, and we've never had a fight. but then some girls are immature and bitchy and incapable of having real friendships, so it depends on the person.

I hope you didn't call me immature bitchy and unable to have a real friendship. We were best friends going on 4 years. We spent every day together. Then she got a boyfriend. I just had to sit back and watch my best friend drift away from me. Do you have any idea how bad that hurts? Do you know how hard I tried to keep her in my life? also looka t it from her perceptive. when you get in a realtionship you tend to want to spend a lot of time together. and none of your frineds like to watch you make out and get nasty....so why would you have them around when you're doing that shit. maybe it was jsut time for both of you to take a break. after 4 years of hanging out with the same person i'd want a break.

i think what would be healthy for you is to not worrying about her life and worrying about yours. you seem lonely. you're so concerned about not having a friend around that you aren't going out and making new ones. i have friends that i haven't talked to in years, but when i run into them, i still consider them friends and we can kick it. people need to expirience new things and leave some things in the past. why not jsut be grateful she was around for those 4 years?

I guess I should give up on it. Anyways college is coming soon so I will meet new people there to. Anyways thanks to everybody who gave some sort of advice.
