52" or 54" depending on where you like them but def no shorter or longer than that.

yep, figure about up to your waste or a little longer. if they're too long then you have the room to cut them down too so they're comfortable

Definitely depends on what type of riding you will be doing. Also, inch measurements can be deceiving depending on your body type, i.e. short legs/long torso or long Legs/short torso.

General rule of thumb is to flip the pole over so the handle is on the ground and grab underneath the basket. Then measure the angle at your elbow.

90 degrees = Normal/All-Mountain
+90 degrees = Park
-90 degrees = Pow or you're moonlighting as a XC skier

+1 get yourself to a shop and they should give you the run down...if not you can always cut them down really easy with a hack saw
