That was very good, only thing I noticed and this is the case with a lot of ski edits these days: Use a tripod! I don't mean that as in your shots are not smooth, your glidecam shots were pretty good, I mean this as in you need some locked down, not follow shots. Locked down wide shots, creative angles, pans, etc. These should be balancing out the glidecam shots.
I know it's easier to just stick the cam on the glidecam and follow the skiers, and sometimes the riders don't understand the need to properly set up before filming, but it's what makes the difference between a lot of amateur and pro edits IMO.
Oh I see, well you did a pretty good job of being original even though you only had a glidecam.
I wanna get that same tripod or something similar... but I'm so broke so I'm stuck with a broken 50$ pearstone tripod -.- tell me how you like the sachtler when you get it!
I actually think that tripod shots would have hurt this video. you have a really sick feel going with your glidecam shots as they are usually very fast and you start really far away from the feature and come into it quick. It gives a good sense of skiing alongside other people, and tripod shots would have really thrown that off.
