I doubt anyone here lives in Florida, kinda feel bad for my grandma though she lives on the southwest coast her husband just died and shes quite old having to deal with all these hurricanes I suppose she used to em by now though

IF Ivan stays on the forecast track (which is unlikely) then Ivan would impact florida. Ivan would probably have 125-135 mph winds by that time, hurricanes greatly weaken after encountering land (such as cuba, and jamaica). I love being a student of meteorology, we get to watch the biggest storms on earth...Ivan is far from the most intense hurricane ever...but he is stronger than Francis, and Charley were
