The government is going to show people acting like they loved him to cover up the fact that they dont give a shit about there people, and I guarentee not too many people over there are actually that fond of him and how he is running N. Korea

this exactly. I work with two north koreans who make sushi and they tell us that the people there are so brainwashed they have no idea of the outside world. Totally cut off except for the very very small percentage of rich people with internet and what not who do business outside and are watched constantly. They actually think kim jong ill could fly. They have 4 or so generations completely brainwashed so its just normal for them. In school they learn about this bs and think its real

Let's make this clear: I am aware that it is propaganda, I know what North Korea is like. That being said, I don't give a flying fuck if it's real or not and I don't want to get into any intellectual arguments over how North Koreans are brainwashed..I just thought it was hilarious

You know why they don't have a picture of Kim Jong Un and his family? They couldn't fit his fat ass into the photo. Seriously that family is about the only family not sharing a single rice ball right now in North Korea.

I didn't bother to read the thread, but I'm just here to post my $.02 as a South Korean.

First off, the citizens of North Korea were completely alienated from the outside world, so to them, Kim Jong Il was a savior who revived their country from the deep. They never were actually exposed to the horrors of the big hancho and how much everyone else in the world hated the bastard. And of course, when a famous person that everyone looks up to dies, people cry.

However, there are mass amounts of propaganda in this video, especially with the children crying. I mean even if they are North Korean, the only thing they should be crying about these days is spilled milk.

I don't really know what I just wrote so yeah.
