So tomorrow my home mountain is opening, however, only two trails will be open with limited cover. I was super pumped to hear this until I was sent an email from the snowsports school saying that employees are not permitted to ride tomorrow. I work for $8/hr while they charge a ridiculous amount of money for a 1.25 hour private lesson. Not to mention this season I had to buy a $141 new jacket for my uniform. The compensation is that I get a free, unlimited pass. Too bad I can't even use it.
Does this make any sense to you? Has anyone else had experiences like this?
Lift tickets are going to be $15. I may buy one just so I can ski.
