Pepsi Can, Twin Towers?

My mom showed me this, this morning. She was saying how it looks like the Twin Towers on this Pepsi can. She posted a link on facebook, and now it's literally no where to be found, which seemed odd too me.

Personally I don't see how this could look like the twin towers really. I don't know though. Thoughts?

How could they put a generic city skyline on a beverage can and think they could get away with it?!

Dude I've heard of it! I think it's where Tammy Wamnutz is also from right?

I'm still curious to see if someone thinks the cityscape has to do with America's twin towers though. I'd like to hear their argument as to why they think that.

everything looks like the twin towers. i doubt its meant to be, but it does look like it.
i have two pencils on my desk right now, side by side, they look like the twin towers.
any silhouette of a city skyline, is going to have buildings that look like the twin towers.

you know how many foods are shaped like dicks??

Just think this, a multi-million dollar company putting a picture on one of their cans that would basically stop a whole nation from drinking it... I doubt it.

I wouldn't be offended and might not even notice it if I saw it as a customer but if I were on the design/ad team I would definitely have spoken up about the similarities even if they are really vague. Huge fail on their part.

It's not even a generic city. It's a loose portrayal of a road leading into a depiction of the dubai skyline. Look up a picture of the skyline there, or check snopes. Guarantee they'll have something about this today or tomorrow.


I love the whole "this looks like it might possibly maybe depict 9/11 in some minor, irrelevant way, if you search for 9/11 within it and look at it the right way....this company did this on purpose! Protest them forever!"


even the slightest bit of common sense should also make you wonder why Pepsi, an American company, would release cans in the middle east that depict an American tragedy. It's not like they release products here with the bombing of hiroshima, or the killing osama on them....so why would they do it elsewhere?
