Newschoolers has an advertising page where you can purchase advertising space. It costs up to 1000 for 250 000 impressions. From what I can tell, newschoolers has somewhere between 15000 and 20000 visitors a day, but I would assume page views are higher than that. Newschoolers is more private when it comes to advertising with a large budget. Their quick serve ad set up only goes to $1000, and companies spending more contact them directly. APO clearly looks like they are spending a lot more than that.

All i did was google "newschoolers daily visitors" and everything that came up was in that range. I am by no means claiming I am an expert, just trying to help out. I could be way off though.

One question i have had about it is why does he have 2 different colored bases? From my knowledge, black bases are "race" bases (make you go faster) so would that be awkward or something?

Seems like APO is catching more flak from acquiring sammy c more than anything else. Which I dont get? Did that make any other big buys for the team and pull a coreupt? Has anybody even ridden their skis yet or know much about the company?

Well their head ski designer is the man behind the rossignol scratch, also I doubt Sammy would have left salomon unless he had something better to ride (suspects durability is shit but it's often overlooked that before they blow up they are an amazing ski) so I would imagine that APOs skid are top notch

Using two different color bases allows you to waste no material when die cutting.  They cut letters out of the black base and stick them in the white base and vice versa.  I believe Line also used to do this with some skis, they just paired similar bases rather than having opposite colors.

think of how much it cost to run a full page spread in FS/Powder... not only that but think of how man individual views they get EVERY SINGLE PAGE REFRESH here on NS. seems like APO just knows how to target an audience.

10-20k to run an ad is cheap dude. One page in ONE ISSUE of a mag is like 20k. The apo shit is up for like a week probably and gets so many more views. If you think 10-20k is a lot, you'd be very surprised at how much normal ads cost on normal websites and normal mags, not just skiing.
