the first big air was in the day time but now takes place at night, no one was pissing there pants when that changed.

Swell idea indeed. People who say it will use too much power, you really have no idea the things that go on in the world industrially.. And also agree about it will give the skiiers better light that the afternoon buttfuck light.

The Honda Sessions (2002 - 2005?). Night snowboard slope style at Vail. Saw Shaun White throw all 4 1080s in one run to win.

As people have said, the flat light around 3 - 4 is very unforgiving . Last year it almost turned into a "who can land all their tricks" contest.

This is going to be awesome. X-games will throw a bunch of money at this and have a legit light set up. And I'm stoked they're eliminating some snowmobile events...those were annoying.

This is actually a great idea... The only downfall will be colder temps and a harder course, but if they groom right before finals that problem will pretty much be taken care of. As far as the lighting goes, cost wise it really isn't that significant when you have the resources that the X-Games have. And you better believe they're going to make that course look like it's the middle of the day, they aren't going to risk crappy camera shots because of a lack of light. This will be really cool to see...
