planning my first trip out west

i need some pointers as to where to go for like a week for cheap. whats the best time of the year? im from michigan, so im thinking i should go to CO? and i mainly want to ride park/long runs, since ive never done bc before. thanks.

im thinking breck and another resort thats close to breck. cost is an issue, and i will be flying there. i want to stay 5 nights and 4 days. most likely will be going during winter break(towards end of december).

Colorado is cheapest in late season, and it is still pretty good then. I went the first week in april to Breck/keystone and the parks were rediculous i loved it. Go to breckenridge for jumps/pipe. Keystone for 'long runs' and rails. Keystone also had fun glade runs i thought but it has not town so stay in breckenridge

Go to colorado if you want to ski someplace that is flat.
